Duck's right wing Bobby Ryan has got a new name for his career-- the NHL Rookie of the Month for January of 2009. He helped all rookies get 16 points in 14 games.
During the month of January , Ryan earned 12 points in 14 games and ranked the third fastest hat trick by a rookie in NHL history. In five consecutive games, his 11 goals for the month are the most by an NHL rookie. Last season, Ryan appeared in 23 games for the Ducks, having got 10 points. And in this season the New Jersey native Cherry Hill has earned 34 points.
